Becoming an Egg Donor

Donor Services works with New York City doctors and IVF groups. We recruit local egg donors and match them to recipient couples seeking anonymous Egg Donation. Egg Donors must be female, between the ages of 21-32. Donors must live within commuting distance of New York City. Due to the time commitment, effort and travel associated with the Egg Donation process, the compensation for a donor's time and effort is $8,000.00 for a completed cycle of Egg Donation. Egg Donation is anonymous and we guarantee your anonymity.

If you are interested in becoming an egg donor you will be required to complete a Donor Questionnaire, and disclose information about your general health, family history, social habits, psychological health, and educational background. It will also be helpful if you tell us about your education, hobbies, special talents and activities you pursue for recreation. We ask all these questions to give a potential recipient a sense of your personality, your goals, as well as an understanding of your family heritage and health background.

Upon receiving your completed questionnaire and application materials, which include: current photos, childhood photos and copies of government issue photo I.D. for verification of identity - we will contact you. Our goal is to help you understand the process of egg donation so you can make an informed decision about whether egg donation is for you!

You will be required to undergo a psychological evaluation and a physician consultation with medical examination to determine your eligibility as an egg donor. Other testing to determine if you qualify will include; blood tests, toxicology, pap smear and cultures as well as specific genetic mutation tests (which are determined by your family heritage). This medical work up takes approximately three to four weeks for all test results to be completed. When the testing is complete and you are determined to be fit and healthy you will be scheduled to begin the cycle of egg
donation.

We will match you to a Recipient female that shares your heritage and physical characteristics, such as height, weight, build, and the coloring of your hair and eyes she may also share some of the same interests and/or college degree or areas of special talents. This is an anonymous process and the Recipient Couple will not know your identity.
